Anwar Clinical Laboratory (ACL) is a multi disciplinary clinical lab, located at the core area of Swat District (KP) providing its services in healthcare since 1992. Regarded as a pioneer clinical lab in private sector, it has continued to gain reputation for excellence in providing quality diagnostic services to the people of the region. It aims to extend reliable and accessible health care facilities in diagnostics.
All parameters of blood chemistry are provided using Cobas C 311, Abbott Architect plus Ci4100 , Abbott SR 1000, Slectra Pro M Merck, Cobas e 411 Roche. A full range of immuno assay including thyroid function function test, fertility hormones, other hormones, tumor markers etc are available.
Led by a Microbiologist, it is providing its services in identification and isolation of pathogens in clinical settings. Both MIC and Disc diffusion methods are used for drug susceptibility.
Morbid anatomy and histo-pathological diagnosis are being provided since 1992. Immunohistochemistry technique is used as ancillary studies in diagnosis.
Hematology services are available under supervision of two competent hematologists. It runs 5,7 parameters of hematology analyzers, capillary electrophoresis for Hb disorders and several other routine and special techniques.
PCR analysis is used for Hbs, HCV, COVID-19 using state of the art instruments including Abbott m2000rt Instrument System, SaCycler 96 RT, and Smart cycler. This lab is approved by HRA (health regulatory authority) and being visited by NIH team in KPK and WHO officials. We have augmented our capacity for rapid turnover time in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. (300 tests per day).
Advance medical imaging technologies for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injury are practiced in the same facility.
